Download Minecraft PE 1.6.0 Update Aquatic for free on Android: barriers, phantoms, slow falling effect, many changes, and more.
What’s new in MCPE 1.6.0?
Mojang Studios sticks with its plan to release all Update Aquatic features on available platforms. Now, we’ve got the third part of this major overhaul.
Phantoms
Minecraft PE 1.6.0 features a variety of different addition. However, the most notable one is definitely the phantoms. This creature is the winner in the 2017 Mob Vote during Minecon Earth.
Back then, it was called the Monster of Night Skies. Nonetheless, it’s just a phantom in MCPE 1.6.0. It flies high in the skies following unrest users.
As a matter of fact, they appear only on the third day of insomnia. It means you won’t encounter phantoms unless you haven’t slept for three nights in a row.
Items
These flying monsters usually spawn in a rafter of three to four species. Once killed with a diamond-eye bow shot, they drop their membrane in Minecraft PE 1.6.0.
You can use it to make various potions, of Slow Falling in particular. It allows you to float in the air like a chicken and gradually fall into the abyss or more welcoming ground.
Obviously, users may combine this quite handy potion with arrows to share the effect — no need to mention the splash and lingering options in MCPE 1.6.0.
General
Mojang Studios also introduced another rule: /gamerule doInsomnia toggles on or off the phantoms spawn in Minecraft PE 1.6.0.
By the way, detonated underwater TNT no longer hurts players and mobs around it. On the other hand, users now have to use phantom membranes in order to fix their elytra.
On the other hand, we’ve also got a barrier block in MCPE 1.6.0. It seems to be invisible, and therefore useful only for the mapmakers.
You can get barriers only through commands. Moreover, survival players will not be able to break those.
