Developers from Mojang Studios have released a new version of Minecraft 1.17.11. This build continues work on the global update for Caves & Cliffs, which started in early 2021.

Amethyst

In Minecraft PE 1.17.11, the player can notice new interesting formations in the caves – the amethyst geode. This structure consists of three layers. The first outer layer consists of smooth basalt, and the middle one is calcite.

It is in the inner layer that the player can find amethyst blocks. Buds grow on these blocks, from which, when destroyed, amethysts fall out. You can destroy the amethyst bud both with picks and with your hand.

Candles

Candles are another interesting innovation in Minecraft PE 1.17.11. First of all, it is worth noting that candles can be in 16 different light variations. Crafting a candle requires a string and a honeycomb. You can get a honeycomb with scissors.

It is enough to use scissors on the bee’s nest. But you should beware of bees in Minecraft 1.17.11, as they can attack. To avoid this, it is advised to install a fire under the nest.

Spyglass

With the help of a telescope in Minecraft 1.17.11, the player can observe everything that happens from afar. This is very convenient since now it is enough to climb a hill to see everything around. It’s worth noting that the spyglass has a unique usage animation. To see this animation, you need to play in third-person mode.

This item requires two copper ingots and one amethyst shard to craft. When using a telescope, a square vignette is applied. The same vignette is applied when using a carved pumpkin. Also, the developers did not forget about working on various bugs. Thanks to this, the game becomes more stable every time.
